Welcome to PRIME HEALTH PHYSIOTHERAPY By reaching out our website, booking an appointment, or receiving services at our clinic, you as a client agree to the following Terms of Services. These terms are designed to ensure the precision, safety, and mutual respect between our team and our valued clients.

  • Scope of practices

Prime health Physiotherapy provides physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and related health services delivered by licensed professionals. All treatments are client centred, focused, evidence-based and adapted to individual needs. We do not guarantee specific end results after the treatments, as recovery depends on multiple factors including patient adherence, past medical history, socio and family history, practice self-care and individual response.

  • Medical indemnity

Our services are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a physician or other licensed healthcare provider; rather our services are the destination for comprehensive and holistic care according to individual needs. Consulting with your physician before starting any new treatment is preferable. We reserve the right to refer patients to other health care providers when necessary.

  • Risk Acknowledgement

By receiving treatment, you acknowledge that physiotherapy may involve physical exertion, exposing the treatment area, manual techniques, and use of equipment that carry intrinsic risks, including but not limited to soreness, or aggravation of symptoms sometimes. Your voluntary acceptance of the treatment sessions are not limited to all risks and  associated with your care.

  • Informed Consent

Before treatment begins, during the treatment and after the treatments you will be asked to provide informed consent. This includes understanding the nature of the treatment, potential risks, benefits, complications and alternative services. For example minors generally require parental consent and in some cases, adult presence during the sessions.You may withdraw your consent at any time. 

  • Privacy and Confidentiality

We are committed to protecting your personal health information in accordance with Alberta’s Health Information Act (HIA). For details on how your data is collected, stored, and used, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

  • Appointments and Cancellations

We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Missed appointments or late cancellations are not encouraged by the clients unless otherwise informed earlier. Repeated no-shows may result in suspension of booking privileges.

  • Termination of Services: Clinics reserve the right to end services for reasons like non-payment, non-compliance with treatment plans, or inappropriate behavior.
  • Payment and Insurance

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. We accept direct billing for select insurers but cannot guarantee coverage. Patients are responsible for understanding their benefits and paying any outstanding balances.

  • Website Use

Content on our website is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. We are not liable for any actions taken based on website content. External links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.

  • Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prime health Physiotherapy, its staff and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or website. 

  • Code of Conduct

We are not liable for adverse effects of treatment except in cases of negligence. However, we are responsible for your well being and recovery. We foster a respectful, inclusive environment. Abusive language, harassment, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated and may result in termination of services.

  • Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services or website constitutes acceptance of any changes.
